On April 22nd I had a GREAT time judging the "Velvet Allegro" Cocktail Contest. The event celebrated the Allegro Apartments grand opening with an evening of food, drink, music, and tours.

On Tap Magazine and Grey Goose Vodka sponsored the big bash at this new apartment residence in Columbia Heights.

It was a tough decision, but me and my fellow judges Jon Gann of DC Shorts/DC Film Alliance and Capital Fringe Founder, Julianna Brienza decided on a refreshing cocktail blend including vodka, chamagne, chai and nectar.

Congratulations to winner Rebekah Jennings, of Bus Boys and Poets!

I enjoyed the rest of the evening touring the lovely compound and grooving to the beats of the DJs Yellow Fever.
